Jack Loo is a director and cinematographer based in Kuala Lumpur. His DP work centres on lighting, composition, lens language and camera movement that support the director’s intent and the needs of the production.
Before the shoot
We discuss the treatment, references, blocking, locations and delivery formats. Camera and lighting plans are developed around the story, available time and practical production requirements.
On set
The DP role connects visual decisions with the camera and lighting teams. Working closely with the director and producer helps maintain continuity and protect the film’s visual direction across setups.
For agency and production partners
A DP engagement is different from commissioning a full production. We define responsibilities, crew and equipment requirements in advance. Based in Kuala Lumpur, Jack is available to discuss shoots across Malaysia.
